Sam Zaldivar has won YAGP multiple times but he got youth grand prix for the first time in 2010. he was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School and is currently training there.
Nikolai Tsiskardze trained at the Bolshoi Ballet School with the one of the best teachers in the world, Pestov. I don't know what makes him good but he's a principal at one of the best ballet companies in the world Bolshoi Ballet, so I'm posting this.
Carlos Acosta trained in Cuba and then went to England to dance as a principal for the Royal Ballet. he has danced as a guest artist at Paris Opera Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet. He in my opinion is the best dancer in the world. He can jump, he can turn PERFECTLY ( the 7 pirouettes in the middle of the variation) perfect 90 degree leg in his grande pirouettes. And he's incredibly clean hence why he went to royal ballet.
Tetsuya Kumakawa was originally trained at the Royal Ballet school and he danced with the company for many years. But later he left and formed his own company called K Ballet in Japan. This his him dancing in Coppelia act III. Pause at 0:58(:
Steven Mcrae from The Royal Ballet is a clean dancer and can be very reliable when a good dancer is in need. He won Prix De Laussune in 2003 and got into the Royal Ballet School. he joined the comapany a few years ago and has been dancing since.
Ivan Vasiliev wasn't made or trained for Sleeping Beauty or Swan Lake. but his stage presence is intense. He knows how to jump and turn and he is one of the greatest dancers in Russia. He is a principal at Bolshoi Ballet.
David Hallberg Act I Sleeping Beauty. He's a true artist and he is a very clean stable dancer. He broke his ankle in this dance the night before.
In January when I returned back to class my teachers worked me very hard for the next moth and a half. Everyday they would rehearse me for a international ballet competition called YAGP. I learned Swan Lake Pas de Trois act I variation, La Bayadere Solor act III variation, Giselle Peasant Pas Act I variation, Paquita Pas De Trois variation (i'm not sure which act) and Satenalla Act II variation. In January my teachers decided to only bring Satenella and Giselle which played to my strengths. I danced in Denver Colorado and I got there the day before the competition to get ready. It was scary and I hardly felt like I was dancing. I felt as if I was standing on a huge stage walking around as a bunch of old dancers watched. My results were lower then I would've liked but I ended up getting top twelve. Following YAGP I started rehearsing for Cinderella the ballet which would be performed in April. I got two parts: Harvest dance in Act I (I don't think it's originally from the ballet) and I was in the ball scene. Following this I went home for a moth and returned in June. I danced Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream and it was an amazing role for me. Went along with my personality haha. I've just started my third year at the Brindusa Moore and I hope to improve.
